The Revival of Printing (Supplementary Reading)
Please read William Morris's brief essay, "The Ideal Book" in this Googledocs folder: Assorted Essays about The Revival of Printing. Take a look at the other essays if you have the time or inclination. I've uploaded a chapter from my PhD dissertation on The Revival of Printing, but I've decided to make it suggested rather than required reading (contrary to what I said in class). If you have trouble accessing these files, please send me an email message at csmith@corcoran.org.
