A Century at the Aldine Press

Aldus Manutius and his books are justly famous. Do you remember the spread reproduced below from our visit to the Rosenwald Collection? Do you remember which book it's from and why it's so remarkable?

Spend some time clicking through this wonderful online exhibition (from a 1995 BYU exhibition): http://lib.byu.edu/exhibits/aldine/

  1. I can't remember the name without looking at my notes, which I presume is "cheating" at this game. The book is remarkable for heralding the new age of renaissance printing, with cleaner illustrations and use of white space, among other innovations.
