This afternoon we'll hear five presenters: James, Clare, Li,
Jennoway, and Moustafa. Next week, we'll hear the remaining six
presenters: Allie, Susanne, Andy, Taylor, Lindsay, and Lita. The order
in which the presentations will be given is to be determined by the
students giving the presentations.
Keep your
presentation under twenty minutes, so the class has time to ask
questions and generate discussion. I'll give you a two-minute warning,
and I'll cut you off when your time is up. I apologize for the
perception of rudeness, but we simply have to keep moving. This will be
even more crucial next week with six presentations and evaluations.
Please
load your image files on the desktop before class starts. It would be
really smart to get to our classroom a little early so you have time to
make sure everything opens correctly.
Make sure your
presentation offers a vigorous argument. In other words, don't just tell
a story, tell us (and show us) why your story matters. If you have
last-minute questions, please send them to me at csmith@corcoran.org.
I'm truly looking forward to hearing the demonstration of your learning.
