Our reading for Wednesday, to remind you, is Steinberg, chapter 2 (75-134). I realize now that many, most, or all of the photocopy packets of the Charles Bernstein essay I handed out are missing the penultimate page. It was an auto-feed mistake with the copier, no doubt. Please don't worry about it. I'll bring some copies of the ghost page to class on Wednesday.
There will be NO READING ASSIGNMENT on the day your papers are due, Wednesday the 13th. Everybody should be prepared to give a brief and informal presentation of your findings to the class (no Power Point type of thing because there's not enough time to get to everyone). The key questions you should focus on are, "What did you learn by conducting this investigation, and why does it matter?"
Lastly, I'm finally getting around to putting up a link to an amazing site "The Private Library" that our classmate Natalie told me about it. The list of links is amazing and makes mine at G2G look positively impoverished.
Here it is: The Private Library
