Consulting print sources to discuss "digital" textuality strikes me as kind of ridiculous. Of course it's necessary in this transitional time (by the way, every period in history has considered itself in a time of transition). Below are some internet sources that I find compelling. Feel free to find your own resources As every sentient being knows, there is no shortage of discourse on "the future of reading" and "the future of the book." Come to class with your digital reading devices (if you have any). A special prize will be awarded to the student bringing the oldest and most useless reading device.
