Thrilling News!
I exchanged email messages today with Elizabeth Eisenstein, and there's a chance that she'll visit our class later in the semester. It's simply impossible to over-estimate her contributions to the field of book history. I'll tell you more about her work during class on Wednesday, but here's a link until then: Agent of Change

This is really exciting...I read some of her book last year for background research for the paper I wrote on artists' books and using them to affect positive social change...I hope it will work out for her to visit our class!
