Revised Syllabus

Please note two crucial and important changes: Your seminar paper proposal is due next week, October 25. One single-spaced page that identifies a specific topic, an argumentative position on the topic, and a preliminary bibliography of major sources you plan to consult.

The second crucial change is moving the due date of your seminar paper back a week. Although you are still free to finish your essay by November 29, it will not be collected until the start of class on December 5.
